Plastic Separation

We have commercialized a technology for recycling multi-layer automotive instrument panels (IPs) and door panels. The most common composition of automotive IP’s is currently a multi-layer technique that utilizes a rigid substrate, foam center, and a soft skin to create a padded, soft IP.
Our automated system results in three seperate, autonomous pure streams of raw material: The Substrate, The Foam, and The Skin. We are able to obtain purity levels greater than 99.98%.
By reintroducing this material in a blend with virgin material, a product is created that performs in accordance with all specification requirements and at a significantly lower cost. We can further pelletize this material and supply a certified pellet.

Paint Removal
We have a patented process to remove paint from certain plastics, specifically TPO and PCABS. After processing, the material has no remaining paint and will meet Class A surface requirement and typically meets virgin physical properties.

Our facility is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art single and twin screw compounding equipment. Each of these instruments incorporates computer controlled operations and data acquisition to ensure the optimum product quality and lot-to-lot consistency.
